American Tug 34 #98 is equipped with the very rare larger Cummins QSB-425 electronic fuel injected engine with 425 hp.  The factory included a hull extension under the swim grid that provides additional running surface. She sea-trialed at 19.3 knots!  Her displacement economy cruise remains 7.25-knots at just 2.1 gph.
